WHAT IS CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY?
Christmas Jumper Day is Save the Children’s annual event where the nation comes together to raise awareness and raise money for children across the world. The Save the Children organisation works on saving the lives and rights of children in many different areas. They focus on providing healthcare, food, shelter and protection of those who need it in less fortunate circumstances than others.
Each December, Save the Children introduce their Christmas Jumper Day where those in schools, workplaces or with their family and friends all put on their Christmas jumpers and festive outfits, bringing donations to help give children the better future that they deserve.
WHEN IS CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY?
This year, Christmas Jumper Day falls on Thursday 8th December 2022 and here at Ultimate Kids we are wearing our Christmas jumpers in the office to celebrate this event taking place today. Many people are carrying Christmas Jumper day on until the weekend, celebrating from Thursday – Sunday… So I’m sure you’ll all be seeing lots of amazing jumpers this year.
