Children’s Mental Health Week 2023
Children’s Mental Health Week 2023
6th – 12th February 2023
Each year we celebrate Children’s Mental Health week and as a community always manage to create a massive awareness around a topic that means so much to all of us. This year Place2Be have announced that the theme for 2023 is Let’s Connect. Connecting and interacting is vital to our well-being and building healthy connections and relationships with friends, family, colleagues, teachers or anyone around us can support us in emotions and wellbeing.
Let’s Connect is about making meaningful connections for all, during Children’s Mental Health Week – and beyond. For Children’s Mental Health Week 2023, we’re encouraging people to connect with others in healthy, rewarding, and meaningful ways. Why not make it your conscious challenge, not only for this week, but going forward in life to work on, build and create these connections and relationships with others around you – you never know how much it could mean not only to yourself but also those you make the connection with.
This week Ultimate Kids have been going into local schools delivering our wellness sessions with our wonderful well-being coach – Olivia Jones Yoga. Focusing on the well-being of children should be a massive focus for parents and schools. We have thoroughly enjoyed exploring and supporting this – it is 100% something we will be expanding and bringing to a lot more schools in the near future. Please do get in touch if yourself or your school is interested in our wellness sessions for either staff, parents or children and we would be more than happy to share some more information with you!
By spreading the word about Children’s Mental Health Week, you’ll help massively to raise important awareness around the topic and decrease the stigma around speaking up. There are so so many ways to support yourself, your children and others and Place2Be organisations have a great guide on their social media pages full of ideas of the different ways you can post about the week on online. Not social media savvy, or looking for other ways to spread the word? Write to your local school using their template letter, or download and print some of our promotional posters, flyers and more – which will of course all be linked below!

Remember that we are all in this together, if you need support do not hesitate to speak up and reach out.
Our messages are always open.
