COACH ROBS HEALTHY SMOOTHIE RECIPE! 

INGREDIENTS: 

STRAWBERRIES 

BANANAS 

MILK (optional) 

YOGHURT (optional) 

ICE (optional) 

Hello everyone, Rob here, this is my recipe for a healthy smoothie. Nothing comes better than a sweet thick ol` smoothie to slurp on during lunch time. Not only is this smoothie filled with nutritional benefits (and 2 of your 5 a day), but also tastes absolutely excellent.

That being said, we’re going to have a look at one of my favourite smoothies of all time… and that’s the notorious strawberry and banana smoothie – 200-300 kcal depending on what your smoothie intake is and whether you use milk or yoghurt. As I`m not so keen on yoghurt, my usual go-to is to add 300ml of milk to the strawberries and a banana. This way we have a more thin texture so the smoothie doesn’t get stuck half way up the straw. We also use 1 full banana and 8 medium sized strawberries. This is the perfect solution to a great smoothie. 

 

Now let’s get to the craft. 

Step 1. Prepare our strawbs by cutting the green tops off (carefully) and our bananas by peeling them.

Step 2. Once we have our ingredients, we put it all in the blender in any particular order and blast, in intervals if needed, for around 30 seconds.

Step 3. Once all blended, pour in a glass with a straw and sip away!
