Ultimate Kids Camp Recap | Lost Property | May/ June 2023
A Week of Half-Term Fun!
First of all thank you all so much to those who joined us – our Ultimate Kids May Camps were a roaring success, filled with a variety of exciting activities and games. Under the hot summer sun, children enjoyed a wide range of sports and water-based adventures that kept them engaged and energised throughout the week. We asked the children which games they enjoyed the most and where do we even start…
Takeshi’s Castle kicked off the fun, with children taking on hilarious and challenging obstacles, showcasing their agility and determination in a quest to conquer the castle.
The Mini Olympics brought out the competitive spirit as children competed in a series of sports and athletic events. From sprinting to long jumps, they showcased their skills and vied for victory.
The Dodgeball Tournament was a highlight of camp, where teams faced off against each other, throwing, dodging, and strategising their way to victory. The fast-paced matches kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
The Football Tournament brought out the soccer enthusiasts who showcased their fancy footwork and teamwork. Friendly matches and mini-tournaments created an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie.
Gaga Ball, a unique and fast-paced game, had children diving, dodging, and bouncing as they tried to avoid being hit by the gaga ball. Laughter filled the air as players engaged in this thrilling and inclusive game.
Throughout the week we could feel the summer sun breaking through, we ensured that the children were comfortable with many drinks and sun cream breaks (but also mainly for me and my pale skin), ice lollies, ending with probably the children’s favourite, water guns and water balloons on our Seaforth Camp. Don’t worry, during our summer camps all of our other venues will have plenty of water activities too! Throughout the camp, children formed new friendships, developed their social skills, and learned the importance of sportsmanship. The dedicated staff enjoyed it just as much as the little ones and we ended the week with a staff BBQ which was defiantly needed. We look forward to using our summer equipment on a weekly basis as the coaches love using them just as much as the children do, we look forward to seeing both returning and new children across all our camps this summer.
As always, at the end of the week, we return back to the office with a few jackets that are too small for us coaches. The lost property box is never empty after camp so below we will share all the items. If any of these belong to you, please just send me over an email kieran@ultimatekidsltd.co.uk letting me know what item you wish to pick up and we can sort this out for you! All lost property will be held until Monday 19th June 2023.
Thanks guys and we hope to see you all soon!
