National Children’s Day Giveaway

National Children’s Day 2023

Earlier this week (14th May) it week it was National Children’s Day UK (NCDUK),  a day all about the importance young people, focusing on impacts of a healthy childhood. It’s a day of celebration, but it’s also a great opportunity for everyone to shout out about what they are doing and to raise awareness and funds for the projects they are running or the things they care about. We can all get involved! In honour of National Children’s Day, Ultimate Kids are hosting a FREE giveaway for all children to enter… but we will get into that later on!

The idea of a day dedicated to children’s well-being and importance has been around for ages!  The first International Children’s Day was celebrated in 1925, and in 1954, the United Nations established November 20 as Universal Children’s Day. However, many countries, including the UK now celebrate National Children’s Day on a different date closer to the summer months. National Children’s Day is also an opportunity for adults to reflect on their own role in shaping the future for the next generation. We can all make a difference in the lives of children by advocating for their rights, supporting organisations that work to improve their well-being, and being good role models ourselves.

To celebrate and give back to the children in our local area, Ultimate Kids want to give one of you the chance to win our Ultimate Merch Bundle (just in time to bring along to camp)! One Ultimate Kids T-shirt, one Ultimate Kids Bottle, one Ultimate Kids Bag and one Ultimate Kids Cap. All for you!

All you have to do to be in with a chance of win our bundle is head over to our Facebook page and find our National Children’s Day post, give it a like, tag a friend then share it! The winner will be announced the Thursday before camp (25th May) so you can wear and use your goodies when you join us this half term! Thank you for all of your support!

So, as a whole, National Children’s Day is a time to celebrate the wonder and potential of childhood and to raise awareness about the challenges that many children face. It’s a day to reflect on our own role in shaping the future for the next generation and to take action to promote the well-being of all children. Let us all strive to create a world where every child can grow up healthy, happy, and fulfilled. See you all soon!
